Federal Tyranny ...Jefferson saw it coming

“The original error [was in] establishing a judiciary independent of the nation, and which, from the citadel of the law, can turn its guns on those they were meant to defend, and control and fashion their proceedings to its own will.” (Jefferson´s Letter to John Wayles Eppes, 1807) America has seen the emergence of a dictatorship of unelected federal judges who can crush the innocent with impunity, ruin reputations and easily proceed in such a manner that pillages personal and corporate property. Any redress often requires the consummate skills of an attorney taking on an impersonal bureaucracy, inertia and a buddy system of black robed scoundrels in a glacial process that racks up huge sums of debt as the billable hour time clock merrily advances.

Few know this drill better than the former mayor of Chicago Heights, Charles "Chuck" Panici, author of Hero To Zero: How the Feds and a Mafia Wannabe Took a Good Man Down. After several terms in office Panici and the people of Chicago Heights saw real improvements. The biggest change was to make good on decades old promises to improve the quality of the towns water by way of a new system for water obtainment leaving behind bad tasting water from wells in favor of fresh water from Lake Michigan. His leadership gave Chicago Heights a new City Hall, Police Station and Library, built alliances and racked up political victory after victory for himself and others. Shortly after the death of his wife, during a witch hunt probe into municipal corruption and organized crime, federal plea bargaining with "Nick" LoBue (who had admitted to having mob ties) was used to have Panici indicted and convicted as well as his City Councillor Louise Marshall who later died in prison unwilling to testify to her last breath against Panici.About the author: Charles "Chuck" Panici through his highly successful 16 year multi term stint as the driven mayor of Chicago Heights attracted statewide and national attention as a political dynamo who racked up accomplishments for his constituents contrasting with predecessors who could only make promises. He developed a highly competent GOP political machine that put him on the track for bigger things. He is widowed and the father of four children with 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He lives in Chicago Heights, IL and advises political figures.

These two books chronicle how a Mafia wannbee, using a corrupted federal judicial process, in a plea arrangement deal, facilitated by a Federal Prosecutor shocked America &

took down the reforming Mayor of the town of Chicago Heights
